The first thing to know about me is that I've spent the last 9 years building a self-sufficient community. Three friends are planning to move here more permanently and more are welcomed. The food production system is almost completed (we produce fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, milk, honey, eggs, and some poultry meat). Open to new projects like medicinal herbs, fiber, blacksmithing, etc.

Career wise I had been a university lecturer, senior manager of a real estate development company, founder of a Silicon Valley startup, creator of a complementary currency for the Bay Area in California, and now a homesteader. I've worked with government ministers, diplomats, CEOs of giant corporations, journalists, as well as young students, HIV patients, folks needing various forms of assistance, farmers, and day laborers. It has been a blessed live and I'm extremely grateful for all the opportunities and all the people I have met during my working life.

What I love doing most is bodybuilding (190 lbs now and trying to hit 200 at 8%) and playing classical piano (Prokofiev Sonatas, Chopin Ballads, etc). When the moods strikes me, I write classical Chinese poetry in the style of the T'ang and Song dynasty, mainly for self-amusement and sometimes to amuse my Chinese literature professor and writer friends. Trained as a life coach and big on self-development.

I'm looking for a life partner who is unafraid. Unafraid to look inside himself, unafraid to make deep and real connection, and unafraid to explore new territories in life. I am loyal and supportive, and need to, likewise, feel supported. Now, if you happen to also love bodybuilding that would be a huge bonus. Let's push hard in the gym as we drip sweat on each other!
